Our web-based platform and app, IPS Gate®, guides you securely and efficiently through the process of requesting, planning and producing patient-specific products. IPS Gate® supports the secure transmission of sensitive data, which has additionally been independently tested by TÜV Süd.
This intuitive concept offers you a high degree of mobility, flexibility and functionality. This has been recognised, amongst other things, by winning the 2020 Red Dot Award for Interface Design.
Sign-Up and registration
Registering for IPS Gate® is easy and can be done in just a few minutes at https://ips.klsmartin.com. Once your information has been successfully verified, your user account will be activated promptly, and you can get started right away.
Case Preparation
New cases can be created quickly and intuitively in IPS Gate®. You can directly involve all relevant contacts and work on the case together.
To ensure optimal preparation, you can precisely define your requirements using mark-ups and comments. Required patient data can be submitted flexibly in various ways: via direct upload, delegation to other users, or by mail.
Direct Case Handling and Communication
Once a case has been created, collaboration with an IPS® developer begins immediately. Through the integrated chat function, you can communicate directly with all parties involved. Automatic notifications ensure that you are always kept informed of the current status.
All information and data are managed centrally to ensure seamless and transparent documentation of the case.
Case Planning
The IPS® Review Module provides you with a user-friendly tool for viewing your case plan in a three-dimensional view. You can freely move the model, view it from different perspectives and document specific requests for adjustments directly and leave comments.
Once all the details have been finalized, you can digitally approve the final plan.
International Availability, local Adaptation
IPS Gate® is deployed in 91 countries in separate system versions. In over 5,000 hospitals and organizations, patient and case data for more than 2,000 IPS® cases are stored and processed on a region-specific basis using a shared case database. This allows country-specific requirements to be specifically addressed and data to be clearly assigned to the respective region. Furthermore, the separate maintenance of the versions enables even more precise adaptations to regulatory and market-related requirements.
