CADS laced up the hiking boots again

Last Friday, our colleagues once again laced up their hiking boots and packed their backpacks. Right on time at 9:00 a.m., our group set off from the parking area near Gasthaus Klausriegler. From there, the route led along forest roads and woodland paths up to the summit of the Schoberstein. Of course, no hiking day would be complete without a shared lunch: a well-earned meal at Schobersteinhaus helped recharge everyone’s batteries.

Some call it a company event, others a welcome break from everyday work. For everyone involved, however, it means the same thing: spending a day away from computers, offices, meetings, and the usual routine. It is an opportunity to connect, share both lighthearted and meaningful conversations, and work toward a common goal together.

For one day, we’re swapping computer keyboard and mouse for hiking boots and backpack

Just like any other company event, a hiking day requires careful planning: from choosing the route and the date, to confirmation and sending out invitations, right through to details such as catering and logistics. This is exactly what our dedicated back-office colleagues take care of all of this in addition to their everyday responsibilities. Thank you so much for all your hard work, girls!

Strangers become colleagues, become friends

Whether it is someone who joined the company just a few days ago or one of the very first CADS employees walking alongside the group, there is a strong sense of togetherness. Everyone is heading in the same direction.

This year’s CADS hiking day once again offered an impressive sight: 37 colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines making their way up the forest road together, accompanied by a four-legged hiking companion. At first glance, it was clear that this group shared a common goal and was determined to reach it together.
