June, July and August were all about growth at CADS. During the summer months, we were delighted to welcome a total of 30 new employees to our sites in Austria, India, and Poland.
With their diverse experiences, expertise, and perspectives, they bring a breath of fresh air to our teams. From product management and software development to business development, we’re excited to have them all on board.

While 19 of our new employees are joining our offices in Austria, we are delighted to welcome a total of ten new colleagues in India and one new team member in Poland. As our company grows, so does the diversity of experience and perspectives that contribute to the continued development of our products.

The professional backgrounds of our new colleagues show just how varied the paths to CADS can be. Some come from traditional software development, while others bring many years of experience in product management or digital business models.
Others, meanwhile, come from the UX sector, where clinical software, user research and UX management have shaped their day-to-day working lives. Still, others are moving from the development of motorcycle dashboards and automated guided vehicles to our 3D development team.

“After several years in UX management and as a team lead, my path led me into medical technology. I’m really enjoying settling into my role at CADS. I’ve been particularly impressed by how much time everyone is taking to help me get settled. Even though my focus is shifting from now on, user experience will always remain close to my heart.”
Marie Stelzhammer, Product Lead IPS Gate®
“My career path has taken me from hardware-oriented software development – where I worked on motorbike dashboards, amongst other things – into medical technology. Here, the combination of software development, 3D technologies and medicine makes my work incredibly exciting. At the same time, thanks to the great work environment and the warm welcome I received from the team, I’ve felt at home right from the very beginning.”
Theresa Lichtenberger, 3D C++ Software Developer

Our company is also enriched by colleagues with experience in research and development, functional safety, and strategic and sales-related roles. It quickly becomes clear that entering the medical technology field does not necessarily require a traditional MedTech background.

“Topics related to health and medicine have interested me for a long time. The fact that CADS, a locally based software company, is advancing these fields of the future with cutting-edge technology and great passion is a real stroke of luck for me. CADS convinced me from my very first conversation with COO Mario Moser. The open communication, structured onboarding, and warm welcome from the team made my start particularly easy.”
Gerold Brunner, Principal, Commercial Strategy
In addition to our many new hires, we also welcomed five interns to CADS over the past few months. Whether through a summer internship, a university internship, or an initial opportunity to gain professional experience while completing their education, our internships offer participants the chance to explore the worlds of medical technology, software development, and digital health solutions.
We are particularly pleased that some interns continue their journey with CADS after completing their internships and remain part of our team. For many, an internship is therefore not only a valuable learning experience, but also a potential first step toward a long-term career at CADS.

Every new colleague brings new ideas, experience, skills, and perspectives. But there is one thing we all have in common: Together, we drive innovation forward and actively help shape the healthcare of tomorrow with the software solutions we develop today.
“I wanted to take on new challenges and broaden my horizons. After completing my education in mechatronics and spending several years in development and product management, I decided it was time for a change. CADS products are technologically exciting and, at the same time, have a direct impact on people’s medical care. I have been particularly impressed by the openness to new technologies, the commitment of my colleagues, and the structured onboarding process.”
Nedzad Nadarevic, Product Lead for Medical Devices

We look forward to continuing this journey together and warmly welcome all our new employees to #TeamCADS!
