Long Night of Research 2026 in Perg: CADS inspires with hands-on medical technology

As part of the Austria-wide “Long Night of Research” on 24 April 2026 , we opened our doors at CADS and welcomed around 300 interested visitors to our site in the Perg Technology Park. People of all ages – from families with children to young people and adults – took the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes. They experienced how we are helping to shape medical technology with innovative software solutions.

Hands-on research for all generations

The event was a complete success for us. We were particularly pleased with the strong participation of families from the region who wanted to experience research up close together. In the evening hours, numerous young people and adults also took the opportunity to take a closer look at the future topics of digitalisation and medical technology .

At various stations, we provided insights into our daily work – from digital planning processes to the development of customised implants that can be produced within a very short time. This made it possible to experience how modern technologies help to make surgical procedures more efficient and sustainably improve patients’ quality of life.

Enthusiasm for innovation and young talent

“The Long Night of Research is a wonderful opportunity for us to make our work tangible and to show how much innovation is also taking place away from the big cities ,” emphasise our Managing Directors Wolfgang Höller and Mario Moser. “We are particularly pleased that so many young people are showing an interest in technical and medical topics of the future.”

Representatives of the Perg Chamber of Commerce were also impressed by the company’s commitment and innovative strength. Eveline Grabmann, District Head of the Perg Chamber of Commerce, said: “It’s really impressive to see that there is a company like CADS here in Perg that is so committed to helping patients and at the same time making everyday work easier for doctors around the world with state-of-the-art medical technology. The positive spirit in the team is particularly noticeable – this spirit of innovation and enthusiasm for research is infectious. It’s fascinating to see the solutions being worked on here. I’m also delighted to see how many young visitors took advantage of the Long Night of Research to gain insights and develop an interest in pioneering topics.”

Focus on exchange and insights

The event shows once again how important initiatives such as the Long Night of Research are in Austria in order to make science, digitalisation and innovation accessible to the general public.

For us, the focus is not only on presenting our technological expertise, but above all:

  • Enthusiasm for future-oriented careers in medical technology and IT
  • the exchange with the population
  • the promotion of interest in technical professions
